    First Grade: (1946-47; Miss Ruth Moore, Mrs. Myrtle Linton)

    Second Grade:  (1947-48); Mrs. Kathleen Russell; Mrs. Louella Johnson

    Third Grade: (1948-49); Miss Jenny Casebier; Miss Ruth Moore)

    Fourth Grade: (1949-50); Mrs. Emily Sosh; Mrs. Nell Beasley

    Fifth Grade:  (1950-51); Mrs. Nora Edwards; Mrs. Lelia McKendree

    Sixth Grade:  (1951-52); Mrs. Clara Louise Jones; Mrs. Clennie Sue Rector

    The  elementary school teachers are also known for some of the others years, but are not included here.

    Superintendents of the Russellville school system during this period were W. N. Shackleford (1908-1920), Charles T. Canon (1920 - 1944), Moss Walton (1944 - 1950), and Robert E. Stevenson (1950 - 1962).  

    The second floor of Lander Hall was used for teaching Manual Arts to high school students, from about 1940.  The Manual Arts instructor through the 1940s and most of the mid-1950s was Mr. Bill Brown.  He was succeeded by Mr. Chuck Lynch.
